THE BLUE OIL - FORMAT PROJECT DEVELOPMENT
Many countries are trying to reduce their energy dependence, especially in the oil sector.
Several states plan to achieve this goal by 2027/2030 through a series of actions aimed at diversifying their energy supply sources, investing in renewable energy, and improving energy efficiency.

DIVERSIFICATION OF SUPPLY SOURCES
An initial strategy involves supplier diversification.
INVESTING IN RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES
States are aiming to develop their renewable energy resources, including hydropower, to reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
IMPROVING ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Many states are implementing various policies to improve energy efficiency in multiple sectors, including buildings and transportation, to reduce overall energy consumption.
To achieve this goal, this project, called
"THE TERRITORY AND THE BLUE OIL PROJECT,"
Was born, along with the planning of all the activities and actions that will be carried out with the states that have already chosen to use BLUE OIL to develop the project that will allow them to achieve energy independence:
1. Construction of the crude oil refining plant in the region with a capacity of 3 million tons per year (expandable);
2. Construction of an "eco-friendly Tank Farm" with a capacity of approximately 1 million tons for each construction phase;
3. Creation of a new "eco-friendly service station network" concept, a network of BLUE OIL-branded service stations with unique characteristics in terms of sustainability and services offered to motorists and tourists;
4. Construction of a fleet of Aframax tankers with a capacity of at least 30,000 deadweight tons each.
5. Oil extraction wells rights acquisition. However, as the implementation time of a large oil refinery complete with advanced and sustainable technologies can take around 5 to 7 years (encompassing engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning) and would not allow the 2027 target to be reached, BLUE OIL has foreseen the
6. Acquisition of more oil refineries that can immediately supply huge quantities of oil products not coming from countries under embargo.
The same has to be considered for the oil tanker construction (about 2 years time), that have suggested the fast purchase of 6 used oil tankers.

Among the activities planned for the new BLUE OIL division, a format project stands out with the goal of contributing to achieving countries' independence from the supply of restricted oil products.
This format project is addressed to countries who currently does not have any crude oil refining plant (or where the territorial plants are not sufficient) and where the supply of derived products mainly comes from countries subject to embargo.
In order to achieve this challenging goal, it was born THE BLUE OIL PROJECT and the planning of all the activities to carry out to design a perfect “circular program”:
a. Implementation of crude oil refining plant with a capacity of 1/2 M/T/year (expandable).
b. Implementation of an “eco-friendly oil tank farm” with a capacity of 0.3/1 million M/T for each single construction phase (more phases planned).
c. Creation of “eco-friendly fuel service stations net”, a network of service stations under the BLUE OIL brand with unique characteristics in terms of sustainability and services offered to the public.
d. Construction of an Oil Tanker with a different DWT capacity.

The BLUE OIL TANK FARM
will prioritize environmental sustainability and environmentally friendly practices throughout its design, construction, and operation. Environmental impact will be minimized through the integration of renewable energy systems, water conservation measures, and waste reduction strategies.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND RENEWABLE ENERGY
Entirely powered by hybrid renewable energy sources (such as solar, wind and innovative water gravity power) and the use of energy-efficient technologies.
TANK FARMS IMPLEMENTATION
BLUE, with its 16 years of experience in the oil sector, has already verified the feasibility of the Project with the main world leaders in the Tank Farms construction sector, companies that have approved the inclusion and adoption of all the sustainable solutions designed by BLUE for the project, and have expressed interest in carrying forward the turnkey Project.
